A proud year for Barnsley Hospital Charity

In a year of compassion, togetherness and kindness, Barnsley Hospital Charity is extremely proud to have been able to support Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, our staff colleagues and our patients over the last difficult 12 months.

With so many generous donations we have been able to continually go the extra mile to fund additional health and wellbeing support for our colleagues and a whole range of important extras that really help them and the patients we care for.

In addition to grants from NHS Charities Together which has funded the development of a health and wellbeing garden area on our site and specialist support for colleagues, we are incredibly fortunate to have also received a significant donation from Barnsley Facilities Services. This donation will make an enormous contribution to the type of things we can fund to continue to make a difference.

Donations complement the resources at Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and make a very real difference to thousands of patient’s lives each and every year, helping to reduce the everyday stresses and anxieties which may be associated with treatments and illnesses.
